QA manager defines the process for moving of project for each and every phase of SDLC by overcoming the risks. He defines the What are standards to be followed, What type of documents to be maintained and other guidances.

The implementation of things whatever defined by QA manager is responsibility of Project manager. He should encourage his team members in developing or testing to reach the standards and views defined by QA Manager.

QA managers can audit the process for certain time periods which is handling by the project manager.
