hifilters are used in testdirector to select a specific type of tests or defects,means if u give filter according to column "assigned to" and if u give mr X then all defects assigned to mrX are displayed.

In Winrunner Gui file could be used for Storing the obects.Here we have two types of files those are Global GUI Map file : Objetcs are stored in Temporary GUI File,GUI Map file per test : Objetcs are stored in seprate GUI file
