This can be achieve by sort & external filter satge.First sort the data in descending order after that use external filter stage & give UNIX command head -3 in the box.

First sort the data on Marks column using sort stage then use transformer stage.In constraints use system variable @INROWNUM (@INROWNUM<=3).In this way you can get top 3 marks.

Login to Datasatage AdministratorGo to Properties ->go to commandtype LIST.READUYou will find the PID(inode) along with job name in tabular format.Find the job which is lockedthen typeUNLOCK INODE (Inode no xxxxxx) ALLRegardSudhir Kanojia

Also find out the PID number from datastage director in cleanup resources link and go to the UNIX server and kill PID number. This way you can easily kill the process and it gets unlocked.

What is the utility you use to schedule the jobs on a UNIX server other than using Ascential Director?
Use crontab utility along with dsexecute() function along with proper parameters passed.
