VVTi stands for Variable Valve Timing with Intelligence. Its a system which improves performance and efficiency of the engine. Mostly fitted with Toyota's.

VVTi : Variable Valve Timing with Inteligence. It is the advanced version of the VVT engine. It changes the cam shaft position by using oil pressure. It is simmilar to CVVT in Hyundai.
