What are the steps to be followed to take backup of CMS?

For taking Backup of CMS or BO system there are two ways1) Replicate the Source environment using Import wizard to other system(test/dev/backup)2) Using CCM take the backup of CMS database and also File system

If you use copy datasource option, you also have option and advantage of copying the source cms db to any other db like Oracle, mySQL, MSSQL, Sybase.(irrespective of what is the source db)cheers!Ankur.

LOV in BO Reporting
If a user wants to report a list of values that is not available in the Universe/DB, then how will you help him/her to use it in a report?

Strange but not immpossible.You have to create a dataprovider by selecting others-->personal files.Now, you have to create a dummy object and when you are using that in BO reporting then add that to filter panel and go for query results of dataprovider, then you can take that and proceed.
