If all the resources have only one instance and there is a cycle in the resource allocation graph, then deadlock is conform.

Cycle in Resource Allocation Graph (RAG) does not mean dead lock. It is the necessary condition but not the sufficient condition to check for dead lockonly if the resource has single instance then we can say that cycle in RAG means deadlock.

When a sub program is called all the temporary results are stored in process status word (psw) and the return address is stored in the stack.
