    The differences between AT & ATX power supply are the connector and output voltage. ATX is has a 20-pin connector for main board power while AT has two six-pin connectors. ATX has a 3.3V output and +5Vsb, but AT doesn't. power supply...

    AT mother board is having an SMPS of mechanical swtich where as the ATX/Microatx other board has an SMPS with DC switch (automatic). This is the main difference.Another difference is that number of pin connectors on the mother boards are different for AT&ATX.
