A human being make an error, which produces a defect (fault,bug) in the code in software or a system or in a document. If a defect in code is executed the system will fail (failure)This is according to ISTQB. This means bug and defect are same. so the answer to the question is "Yes"

"Google" Web page title is misspelled as "Gogle".Its a candidate for high priority and low severity.Where misspelled word is not going to affect the functionality of google anyways.However people will not recognise the web site as google. which is not good in terms of business.
