Change from Manual to Automation Tester

I would like to change my career from manual to automation. I have more than 4 years of experience in manual testing. How can I change to automation? I am planning to do Selenium course from Bangalore. If I put that course details in my resume, will I get a chance to attend an automation interview? Are there chances that I get a job without a real time project experience?
