DMGR is the single administrative of WEBSPHERE APPLICATION SERVER

The DMGR is a single administration in websphere application server, whenever we create a dmgr by default we will get one node, cell and adminconsole, here we don't have server to run and deploy applications, it is mainly used to do the administrative activities.

Unless and until the application and customer server profile has to be federate with the dmgr, once federation process has been done we can create create servers from dmgr admin console

DMgr process manages the nodes agent. Holds the configuration repository for the entire management domain (cell)

DMGR is not a server and it is a process so we cannot deploy the application into DMGR. But the main benefit of DMGR is we can get single point of administration that means we can mange federated nodes and applications at single point.
