Propulation in rockets

Can we propel a rocket during its orbit around a planet using highly pressurised helium or nitrogen gas which would lessen the fuel consumption ?Or can we use it to launch a blastic missile?

Ballistic missile... gases would get evaporated if we try to propel due to vacuum in space

I think i should work.

if we take that the rocket is at a high altitude, it means its in a low pressure atmosphere or vacuum .

If a ''high pressured'' gas released from the rocket, the gas will move rapidly outside to "low pressure" atmosphere.

Now according to a part of newtons 3rd law , i.e. rate of change of mass (of gas) into velocity would give the propulsion force.
