We will Federate a appserver node to the dmgr node thru the command..

 go to was product--> profies--> appserver home--> bin--> run the addNode.bat/sh dmgr hostname  dmgr soap connecting ports -includeapps -username admin -password admin 
 Here the username and password are the dmgr's., i assumed username and password of dmgr are admin. Default dmgr SOAP port   8879
 
addNode.bat/sh dmgrhostname dmgrSOAPport -includeapps -username --------   -password --------------
