Informatica Internal Processes of Integration

What is the internal processes of integration server in Informatica? How data will be extract and load to the target?

Integration service will in turn call DTM service if the task in a session which will take care of extraction and loading of data......for other sessions like email, cmd it will hand over the task to DM manager which takes care of it. IS just manages the show
