Power for a centrifugal pump =  flow(M3/hr) x S.G x head(m) x density x g /(1000 x 3600 x 0.745 x pump efficiency )

Head developed will depend only on the diameter of the impeller.  Head and flow is mutually convertable with in the pump curve.  If low head is required so flow will increase
If high head required (w r t pump curve) flow will decrease.  If there is no flow power required will be minimum.
