Consider the distance between points as x. Then time taken to cover the distance a-B be t1 and Between B-A be t2. Then x/4=t1 and x/8=t2. Dividing these two we get 2:1 which is the required answer.

4 km/hr from A to B = s1
8 km/hr from B to A = s2
Speed = Distance/Time

s1 = d1/t1
s2 = d2/t2
s1/s2 = t2/t1

We need t1/t2 so,
Answer ratio is 2:1
