Badi’s are nothing but Business add-ins. Application programmer who wants to have a Business Add-ins in a particular program can define the interface for an enhancement in the Business Add-in builder. Badi methods can be called from abap programs. It is for enhancements in the application area. A Badi consists of a Badi interface, a set of filters and some settings. Main use of it is reusability.

BADIs are OO Enhancements to add functinality to the existing standard transactions. Tcodes are Se18 and SE19. To find BADI: Open Transaction -> System->Status->dbl click program->Find(Binocular symbol dont use ctrl+f)->radiobutton 'in main program'-> enter the text CL_EXIT_HANDLER-> Enter. This displays the instance names for where the Exithandlers are triggered. The names of the instance gives the BADI names.
