If x = 4 then y = 36?

LCM of 4 and 36 is 36
HCF of 4 and 36 is 4

given LCM=36 and HCF=4 and also X=4
LCM * HCF = PRODUCT OF TWO NUMBERS ,
SO x * y = 36 * 4
4 * y = 36 * 4
y = 36

LCM=36 is correct; if x=4 then y=9
HCF=4 with x=4 means that y is a multiple of 4; but in that case x and y are also multiple of 2, so HCF=2.

The second proposal is not correct.
