Let the number be x.
x + x/3 = 60
3x + x = 180
4x = 180
x = 45
According to question,
4/5x = 180/5
So, x = 36.

Let us assume that a number is x.
so 1/3 od x is x/3
therefore number + 1/3 of number is 60
x + x/3 = 60
3x + x = 180
4x = 180
x = 45
means x is 45
According to que, 4/5 of number that is x is 4/5 *x
4/5x = 180/5
x = 36.
