It simplly enables a novice user to literally rapidly automate some test script. Capture the steps to automate, it will automatically setup the gui map when recording, parameterize the data using some variables and excel file and replay. Ur done !!

If you hold some programming / development background, please dont even consider using such wizards as they are not a good practice for true automation development.

I would like to add few more points :
WE normally use Rapid  test wizard with Global GUI map file,it is not avialiable when you work with GUI per test mode.
Rapid Test Script wizard systematically opens the windows in your application and learns the description of every GUI object.The wizard store this information in GUI map file.
