1. Study Domian
2. Study AUT
3. Develop a Scenario for your module
4. Split your module if required
5. Create and Stabilize the GUI map for your module
6. Record the test script
7. Split your test scipt into test steps to cover all the functionalities and validations
8. Enhance your test script using checkpoints, sync points, parameterization and by progamming.
9. debug your script
10. Run and report the bugs

WinRunner Testing process consists of 6 main Phases:

1) Teaching winrunner the objects in ur application
2) Creating additional test scripts that test ur application functionality
3) Debugging the tests
4) Running the tests on a new version of the application
5) Examining the test results
6) Reporting the defects
