Its very simple if you go to the level of time metrics and scaling it from 00:00 .One hour=60 minutesSo at 6'o clock it will be = 360 minutes from 0000and at 3'o clock it will be = 180 minutes from 0000lets take the unidentified value = xso as per the statement:(360 -x ) - 50 = 180 + 4x(note that every value is in minutes - 6'o clock = 360 and 3'o clock = 180)solving the equation - 360 - x - 50 = 180 + 4x5x = 360 - 50 -1805x = 130x = 26 minutesThis implies its 26 minutes to 6 ie 5:34 and the time 50 minutes back stood at 4:44or4 * 60 +44 = 284 minutes (4:44)which is equal to 180 + 4 * 26 = 284 minutes (substituting the value of x in 180 + 4x)
