What answer we have to give if HR asks about the up and downs in the percentages of 10t, Inter, B.tech (I am having the percentages of 10th, Inter and B.Tech respectively 81.33, 82.9 and 67.55)q:"Why it happend so like that in your academic career" ?

reply according to his question.but, according to my knowledge he won't concern about percentages of previous academic career. he is worried about ur last passout.

 hello sir ,

 i am pradeep, completed my b-tech in cse with the percentage of 58 .i am having 72% in scc.i hav taken courses  in languages c,c++,unix & my project in  .net. how can i get a job in software compinies. plz help me sir

From the percentages specified by you I don't think there is a difference in the percentages of 10th and Inter. But of course there is fall in your percentage in B.Tech when compared with th earlier two. If questions like why it happened so in your academic career was posed in interview you could highlight any extra-curricular activities which you concentrated more than your studies or some achievements made in this period and so on. This would bring a positive remark on you.

IF you really want to escape from the situation, i suggest you say this

"Sir, unlike school, where i was coached in every aspect and depended on the staff for the same, in college, i am trained, and independent in my work and learning, it took me some time to adjust to the college environment , and hence the step down in marks"

with some confidence in speech, i am sure this will impress the HR
