Biasing means seeting up a fixed level of current, so that there is a constant voltage drop across the transistor, so that the signal is proper amplified.
Generally emitter, base current are the currents and collector base voltage are the voltage.

Biasing Simply means VOLTAGE level ...
Whether its forward bias (voltage) or reverse in case of simple diode ..
or You may apply this concept to transistors also.
Biasing means obtaining the operating point i.e. voltage for
which the circuit works well

Biasing may be of two types :-
DC biasing
AC biasing

Never confuse biasing with DC only or AC only..
Its Simply a voltage level,
Hope It Helps!!!

In reality we have two types of biasing foward and reverse biasing, some componets work in reverse and other in forward biasing. the diode works When  forward biasing in reverse it will not conduct, open circuit. For that reason I shoul say biasing is the corect way of conecting componens to function and conduct properly.

Biasing is the predetermined voltages and currents given to the transistor to set an appropriate operating point in the active region of transistor. For a transistor to work as an amplifier it must be operated in active region.Hence, the operating point is called bias point or quiescent point or Q-point.For faithful amplification the operating point must me selected appropriately.

Biasing means applying a suitable voltage so that even after getting effected by the polarity of the battery present inside the circuit the applied battery results in providing an intended operation.

Example: If we apply a battery of 20V for biasing and we desired the voltage of 20V to appear across the doide inside a circuit but also there is a battery present inside the circuit reverse biasing a diode and has a value of 5V. In this case the applied biasing potential of 20V will not do. We have to apply 25V for biasing so that even after being reverse biased by the internal battery it will give the desired voltage of 20V across the diode.

Biasing means, the DC voltages from a DC voltage source is applied to turn on the threshold voltage of any active devices like diode, transistors etc. to operate them in proper manner in various application.

Biasing has 2 types....a) Forward Bias, b) Reverse Bias.
When a positive terminal of an active device is connected with the positive terminal of the voltage source & the negative terminal of the device with the voltage source, then the biasing is called Forward Biasing. If the negative terminal is connected to the positive terminal of the voltage source then it is called Reverse Biasing.
