PASTA is primarily meant for PDF and PS reports. If you have TEXT reports, they need to transformed into PDF format before they can be printed on any printer without having to tweak the printer escape sequences in Oracle.

Check out Sirvisetti AutoStream (AutoPrint module) for Oracle Applications (http://www.sirvisetti.com). You can register for a demo online. It completely eliminates the need for managing printers in Oracle and the server (UNIX/Win) running Oracle concurrent manager. Users can print any report in any format to any local printer configured on their desktops.

It is a must have in every Oracle Apps environment! Just check it out and decide for yourself.
