Anyway firstly look at ur file supports by the browser
Vedio files are supported by the browsers are :
.avi
.wmv
.mpg or .mpeg
.mov
.swf
if then...
Videos can be played "inline" or by a "helper", depending on the HTML element you use.
You have to use helper Application
Helper applications can be launched using the element, the element, or the
