Test case for telephone: 1. To check connectivity of telephone line or cable2. To check the modem to determine whether it is functioning or not3. To check dial tone of the phone 4. To check the keypad while you dial any valid number on the phone5. To check ring tone with it?s volume levels6. To check voice of both sides (from and to) of the phone 7. To check display monitor if the phone has 8. To check redial option whether its functioning or not10. To check the company standard of phone 11. To check the weight and color of the phone 12. To check loud speaker whether it is functioning or notany missing above then you can add any more test cases

Hii,

   To write test cases for telephone noo need to check modem just we have to check connection and also we have to check GUI All the features in the phone present r not, and also we have to check keypad numbers when we dialed a number correctly it is displaying in the screen r not and also when we press redial button it is correctly going to that number r not when we press on speaker buton the speaker have to on when we take hand set in our hand the sound have to go out.

And also we have to check each and evey functionality in the sense major functionalities why means in interview there is less time

I covered wht u r not coverd in ur answer

and also soo uch is there this much i enogh.

Sridhar,I appreciate your thinking process.But i think not all u've written apply to all phones.At the First place one has to know whether it is a mobile phone or a Land Line coz some test cases might differ between two.Secondly not all Phones have the same Features-for ex.if u take telephones of good old years,u don't have Redial,Loud Speaker option spped dialler option etc.Wat all we've to check is1)Check the Dial pad2)Check the mouth piece(microphone)3)Check for the Connectivity 4)Check for the mobility5)Check for the ring tone 6)check for the Ringing Volume....likewise.. which are common to all phones irrespective of them being old or new.cheers,lalitha

Test Case for Telephone

1.Check whether the telephone is connected to the appropriate network

2.Check whether we are receiving the dial a one while we place the receiver to our ear

3.Check whether all the numbers in the dial pad is workingproperly

4.Check whether if any calls comes telephone be beeped

5.Check whether we put the receiver the line be disconnected

6.Check whether while we are speaking in the telephone if we receive another call it should be beeped

7.Check whether the network is geeting without any disturbance

8.Check whether we have theconnectivity unless wepaid the bill
