Test case For Microsoft Office Cd:

1)Check whether Cd is not physically damaged & it is licence product or not

2)Verify whether It is Office Xp,Office 2000 etc

3)Verify the languageEnglish,French,German etc...

4) Verify Service pack is included or not i.e sp1,sp2..

5) Verify Cd key written on Cd

6)then verify Cd has proper size and fits in Cd-Rom or not

7)then wherify whether it is corrupt or not,give proper GUI after inserting

8)should have autorun/setup.exe

there are 100 of testcases if you need to write on  this..Hope it will give you idea..:-)

Test case for MS-Office CD :

1.To check whether when we insert a new cd it must intimate the user to open the cd or not
2. To check whether the user clicks the folder it must open the cd drive folder
3. To check it must show all the contents in the cd
4.To check when we select clicks the Ms office folder immediately it must start the application
5. To check when the user clicks start button then only it must start to install.
6. To check it must intimate to the user by showing in small window
7. To check whether the small window must have back next and cancel buttons
8.To check when the user clicks back button it must move to previous window
9. To check whether the user clicks next window it must move to next window
10 To check whether the user clicks cancel buton the installation or the process should be stopped
11. To check whether it starts to install check it is installing only Ms - office
12.To check whether it starts to install it must check the memory space
13.To check whether it must ask the user whether he needs full version to install or repair he wants to do it
14. To check when the user selects repair it must repair and it should install the other things
