let

pineapples=x

jackfruits=y

6x+2y=15...............(1)

10x+2y=23..............(2)

now solving these two we get,

x(pineapples)=50 paise,

y(jackfruits)=Rs.3

Hi, The correct solution is

6x+2y=15-------------(1)

14/x-9/y=4-----------(2)

by solving these 2 equations we get the right answer.

All the best, bye.

6x+2y=15_ _ _ (1)

then
total difference bet. no pineapple  & jackfruits is 4
no of pineapple >no of jackfruits
no of pineapple=14/x
no of .jackfruits=9/y

14/x-9/y=4______(2)
add eq . 1 & 2

Cost of Pineapple=Rs.1.75
Cost of Jackfruit=Rs.2.25
