let no. of shoe strings = x,price for shoestrings=x*x

then no. of pins =4x,price for pins=4x*4x

nd handkerchiefs =8x,price for handkerchiefs=8x*8x

total money she had is 364(but this is not mentioned in question)

x^2+16x^2+64x^2=364

91x^2=364

x=2,so total no. of handkerchiefs are 8x=16

i.e.,8*2=16(ans) sure
