Open Flexfield => Descriptive=>Register and query required DFF. Click on "Columns" button enable/disable required columns there.

Hi,

While defining a value-set we can define that the values need to be picked from a sepcific column in a table. Later this value-set can be attached to the segment. In this manner the segment will have values from the database table column.

Hope that solves your query...

while u will  go through the following

Application developer-->       flexfleds-->            dff-->segment

there u  can find out the enabled check box, if u want use the database column then  u will  check the enabled check box, instead of that unchecking the enabled check box
