X+y+z=9& y>0,z>0 and both are integers. What is the maximum value of x?

 i think answer should be 6...

  thats because x,y, and z are 3 different numbers...without repetitions..

  so if z=1, then y = 2 (both>0), that leaves max value of x as 6...

  however, if repetition is allowed, then only answer will be 7
