A man goes to shopkeeper and says that if you give me as much as I have I will spend Rs.10/- on your shop. Shopkeeper agrees and man moves to another shopkeeper asked the same. At the third shop after all the transaction he was left with no money. Find the initial amount with the man?

initially he is having 8.75 ps .....after leaving first shop he left with 7.50 ps.....then he went to third shop with 5 rs in hand...the third shop keeper will give 5 rs..he will spend total 10 rs there...approach to this problem is start with third shopkeeper...
