Hello sir,I am BE in Computer sc 2004 passout.I worked in IT dept of a manufacturing company.But not much at technical side. I have the knowledge of SQL .Now I left the job and am in bangalore for training.I am more interested in Database side(either in SAP or Oracle).Now plz advice me which on is good for me and which institute to join.I deseperately require your advice.Thanks...

I would suggest you to go with SAP as its demand is more. You can learn oracle whenever you want as you have interest in database.All the Best.

I have did BComin 2001, I have done 1yr course from NIIT and Jetking, presently i am CCNA certified, nd working in BPO in IT Dept and drawing sal upto 15k p.m. I am planning to do Software Testing, is this change of field will make my sal higher?

Hope you are planning to do your course in Software Testing.I would say initally you would not have a remarkable increase but dont worry once you get into the field the prospects in terms of career as well as monetary are higher. So get going. All the Best.

I am a banker with 6 years in banking. Then did my regular MBA and presently working as a Business Analyst in a company. I want to know is it possible to shift to Business Intelligence domain. What do I need to do to be a specialist in that.

As the name suggest for Business Intelligence domain one of the greatest feature one should possess is solid experience in the Business area they are opting for and strong business high level knowledge on the same.

Previously I asked few questions and still I am expecting kind advises from you.I am a Post graduate in commerce(M.Com) and working for a MNC In HYD.I want to go for S/W ,in SAP or Oracle.But I am really in dilema to which one do I select and,is my qualification enough? and what is the minimum qualification require for those courses.Is there any companies offer jobs for fresher?. You have a M.Com degree,so my openion is Oracle 11i would be the best fit for you.B'coz it is almost accounting based software and you will learn a bit easy than any other course.Don't take my word as final.Research more on this one.

Hello sir, i read almost all of the questions ...but not getting answer for my question....my question is:-- i am a prod. engr..having 1.5 years of exp. in quality dept in a mech. firm. & i want to make my career in sap.i enquire @ it for SAP-QMS training but i heared SAP QMS is not demending...jobs are less...& one should go for SAP-PP for better jobs..? is it true?i am totally confused wheather to go for sap qms or sap -pp? which is better? please reply..thanks in advance.

Yes what you have heard is right.As far as demand is concerned SAP-PP takes the lead. So I suggest you to go with that. Hope you have got the answer for your query.All the Best.

I am a Software Professional with 15 years of experience. I have worked with relational databases. Was a project manager for several statistical and other applications. I like Business Analysis and I am quality oriented. I want to specialise now either in Six Sigma or Business Analytics. What would be a better choice? Any suggestions on the scope of both..

I would suggest both as your interest are in on quality as well as Business Analysis. Six Sigma has features on quality and Business Analytics deals more with analysis and approach of Business.

I am B.com Graduate. But Always being working in IT. 7+ yrs.Have work with Wipro , Microsoft.I have work as system admin / site in-charge.I had done MCSE on Win NT.Now want to upgrade my self.Now have option to learn Software testing / Oracle / C sharp & Asp.net.My preference is for Oracle. Seems very easy to me. Have work on forpro know about database. After achieving OCP certificate on oracle 9I what are my chances in job as being B.com student ??

I am M C M (Master of Computer Management), M B A ( Marketing & Sales) and working as Asst. Programmer in a cement company since last 5 years.
I m working on SQL, Oracle 10g and I have beginners knowledge of Oracle. I generate reports using SQL, Forms and handle some kind of MIS using MS-OFFICE .and also maintain the database and make changes in software according to users requirement I observed i m not so expert in programming and if i want to do any other course/training i have to leave the present job as where i work is a remote place...

Hi! Suresh it would be better if u had mention ur education back ground years of exprience u have. my advice for u is for is shift to IT field because it is vast and open for all who can learn and u are willing to learn Oracle DBA so u can get jobs in administration.All the Best!

hi c ofcourse there are too many jobs in .net nowadays.But the quesion is which platform u r comfortable with.Its coz its u who have to work,so choose which u like the most.Ofcourse if u r good then ther are many many jobs in java too!

I am Sadiq, Working in a BPO which deals with webhosting. I've gained knowledge in webhosting concept. I am a B.Sc., Computer Science graduate. Now I want to be in a place where I can sound technically good. My dilemma is that whether I have to do any special course or do the Master degree. OR Shoot a try for an MNC which offers technical. Anyway, I need this to be fixed. Can u advice me?

Hi first tell me you are interested in which fieldAnyway.I would suggest you to do a course from an reputed institute.Also try in companies, since you can learn a lot by working somehere than doing yours master's which may consume 3 /2years.Think of master's only if , you see no way ahead.bye

Hi all,currently I am working as a sr. process execute in an insurance based mnc. I would like to shift my career to dwh consultant and have taken up course in data warehouse, getting trained in cognos , etl tools of sql.can anybody advise me as to which companies i should apply for to have the same domain of insurance with dwh.

Most of the big companies are using Data warehousing .. so you need to do investigation in the country where you are trying jobs.... It's very important for you to learn Oracle ,SQL Server Data bases since most of the companies requires those skills ... Where are you from..... Thank,Jim
