what abt this ?  1* select sum(count(*)) from all_tables group by ownerSQL> /SUM(COUNT(*))-------------           39SQL>

Someone need to confirm whether this is correct! Each owner is treated as schema(?),bang me if I am wrong  1* select count(1),owner from all_tables group by ownerSQL> /  COUNT(1) OWNER---...
