I just want to know more about landing area in Datawarehouse Why landing area required in DWH ? Diff between landing area and staging area in DWH ?

Landing Area or Landing zone:
This area is used to bring data from multiple source to single zone (say like ODS).
Staging area:
In this area, logics are applied on the data by creating views.

Landing area - is the area where we kept the source files from where the ETL tool will be going to extract the data.

Staging area is the initial stage of the database where we just load the load into table without applying any transformation or business rules.
