As per IS standard the weld length is 6d.

The size of concrete cube is 150mm x 150mm x 150mm as per Indian Standards. Why?

The practical result of checking strength of concrete at 7 days & 28 days depends on the cube size 150x150x150, if we change the dimension, the checking days will change.

According to British Standard (BS) 1881:1983
100 mm cubes can take up to 20mm CA and 150mm cubes can accommodate up to 40mm CA!

PPC cement made from OPC cement by adding fly ash 20% 30%, so it is equal to 33 grade.

When we add fly ash to make PPC then its strength is not fixed.
More you do curing more you get strength, moment you stop curing strength will stop that place. Where as in OPC highest strength is fixed to a mark. that is why OPC has grading but PPC dosen't have.
