What are patches and how do you know if you need to have one for your Loadrunner to work?

I don't think there is a straight forward answer for this.? Usually patches are needed when certain situation arises.? Therefore, study the environment for load test well and make an assessment with the basic installation (Read Me file).-papayamilkshake
