May be too many traffic, virus issue, run the disk cleanup, check the LAN etc. Check the internet link, may be to many packet drop while using pass the traffic via gateway, In case may be restart the networking device.

Check traffic on L3 device,Test looping,Utilization on link.Packet drops or CRC / Input error on L3 device.
