Why C?
Why C considered as a High Level language? In C we are using pointers to access memory ,hence why HLL?

because C is very simple to learn, easy to use and its reliable thats y most of them opt for C.And C is base for every language you learn...That is C++ and java's foundation is C...It is like a foundation of a building over which other floors are built

Actually, C is Middle Level Language, not High Level Language because the extent its higher than a Low Level Language is same upto the extent its lower than High Level Language.
