What is the difference between bitmap checkpoint and image checkpoint?

Bitmap checkpoint: It applies to a particular area on the "bitmap". It is not necessarily the image, though it could be the bitmap for the entire image. e.g: If the image is of a person, then a bitmap could be the area representing only his ear.

Image checkpoint: The enitre person in our above example i.e. the enitre image is taken into consideration for verification purposes.
