Scripts is the word processing tool in SAP.

basically contains one print program, atleast one layout set,and a composer acts internally to map the data that you want to print on script layout from print program which will extracts the data.

Reports is the data processing tool in R/3,through which you can analyse the data for buiseness processing more effectively.

Script is an interface between SAP and business partner like vendor. The flow is like this SAP Report - Script->Print program- Vendor.

Sap scripts provides the interface to print the documents in a word format to vendor. Through a print program the output will be generated via printer to vendor.

Where as report is a program in which you can extract the data and display the output on to the screen.
