Hi all,I am trying to add page checkpoint on "Book a Flight:" page. I am following the instructions from QTP tutorial. When I am adding a checkpoint, instead of adding it in "Book a Flight:" page, it is adding it in "Book a Flight:_2" page. Please tell me what I should do & where I am wrong?

Instructions  For creating Page Checkpoint :

    1) First record a Test

    2) Right click anywhere in active screen and chose insert standard checkpoint , the object selection-checkpoint properties dialog box opens. Click on Page:Book a Flight. Click ok.

   3) The Page checkpoint Properties dialogbox opens.

   4) Click all the tabs in all objects in page.when u run the test qtp checks the number of links and images in the page and the load time as described in the pane at the top of the dialog box , it also checks the actual target, accept the default settings and click ok.In the test tree a check point icon will displayed. Save the Test and run.

Hi , By default QTP add check points when you are recording on the web pages. So when you are trying to add the check point it is taking "Book a Flight:_2" instead of Book a Flight:.As the QTP never add two check points on the same name it is generating the name as Book a Flight:_2". To avoid the above problem Go to Tools.....> options .....> Web Tab ...> advanced ....> clear the check box that can add the default check points on the web page. I hope this will solve your problem.Srikanth N.
