A milkman says to a boy "in one can there is spring water, other can contains a cream milk. I will mix some water with the milk to provide wholesome diet. If I take some quantity from can A and pour it into can B such that its content doubles, again take some quantity from can B and pour it into can A such that its content doubles, again take some quantity from can A and pour it into can B such that its content doubles. Finally quantity of milk in both the cans are same but the amount of water is one gallon more than the milk. Can A contains Water 2 gallons Can B Milk contains 1 gallon.

1 step: pour 1gn from Can A and pour it into Can B such that its content doubles.

Can A is now 1 gn Can B is now 2

2 step: take 1gn from Can B and pour it into Can A such that its content doubles Can A is now 2 gn Can B is now 1

3 step: take 1gn from can A and pour it into can B such that its content doubles.

Can A is now 1 gn Can B is now 2
