each edited vaiable is treated as a alphanumeric one hence it will result in a SOC7 abend.

It will give compilation error becoz data item don't have value clause.

It will give Compilation Error, because ws-amt is not numeric field so arithmetic operation cannot be possible in ws-amt field

It will not show any error. Becos "value" clause is not needed for this variable to show compilation error and the ADD syntax can be used to add value to alphanumeric variable. Alphanumeric variable can handle numeric values (ex. 10, 20) but vice versa cannot happen.

It will give compilation error because WS-AMT is a edit-item and edited items can not be used in arthmetic operations.
