Hi

in unix enviromment if u install informatica means... u need one more machine to connect to that server.

Since GUI is not there in unix env...

SO no one will prefer unix env....

If  u r in project only servers will be maintained at some place at once.. and every one will work with windows.. only

So I need to know purpose of installing in unix..environmet...

If u install in one system also its waste.....

For installaion its easy... Only goto the propmt and install form there...

Better to follow document provided by informatica......

Any issues and concerns letme know

i want to know the informatica installation proceedure on unix or linux . i want to try for my sake only. if u have just forward it .  like step by step proceedure i want . in the manuals it is not giving clear idea that's why
