let no of correct ans be x

no of wrong ans be 20-x

then 10x-3(20-x)=148

on solving for X =16

no of correct ans =16 and no of wrong ans =4

Let correct ans be x;

Therefore wrong ans will be 20-x;

Marks obtd for correct ans =10x;

Marks obtd for wrong ans= 3(20-x);

Total marks obtd :- 10x - 3(20-x) = 148
