How can a dead thread be restarted

A dead thread cannot be restarted.

By reinitializing the thread object by using new operator and then calling start() method

You can start a dead thread. The dead thred is just an object but can not be instantiated

It can be started if you program it in that way.
Use ThreadPoolExecutor.
