There are 12 black mouse and 1 white mouse in a circle. The counting starts from one white mouse. The cat starts eating the mouse and begins with black mouse then it eats 13th mouse. From which number it should start eating so that the last mouse is white?

 consider a circle .

in that, let 1st mouse be white. leaving  that the cat is alowed to start eat the 2nd mouse in a circular format . then finally the last will b white mouse (at 13 th position)

there are 2 possibilities

The cat can start from 2nd mouse if going clock wise

or from 13th one if going anticlock wise

It should start from 11th mouse.The 13th mouse should be a white mouse

It starts with 5th mouse.
The next 13th mouse will be 6th mouse as it has already eaten 5th one.
The next will be 8th mouse and so on.
The last one would be the white mouse.
