FTP (File Transfer Protocol). The Network OSI Model has the 7 Leayers architecture. Each Layer perfrom operation by using particular Protocol. 
 
The FTP and TFTP are the protocols on the Application Layer. 
 
FTP uses TCP so the Data Delivey is Reliable. To get a file from the Remote machine, by giving the valid username and password we could trasfer file over internet. 
 
The TFTP is using UDP. The the Data Delivery is Unreliiable.
