Hello Friends,

If you go through Object Description using user define function & this function is used to build a library of object. store it as library file. This is the only way with out using OR we can store the object in other than .tsr file. called as descriptive programming.

Since OR is tool specific so QTP will recognize OR in that format only if you will some other file format it won't recognize

Both the steps are performing two different functions. First is selecting some text from list and second is clicking some add button.

Whereas, Recovery Scenario can be used to handle unxpected event or error.

When you want to use a reusable action without making any change in the code then you should use 'Call to existing action'.But if you want to make changes in the reusable as per your requirements then ypu should call 'Call to copy of an action'.

Runtime values of the objects can be viewed in test results ->runtime datatable. It contains the values of the objects which were retrieved by using output checkpoints.

To see runtime value of a particular object or variable, - Set a break point in script at object/variable you want to see the value.-
Select the variable or object --> right click --> select "Add to watch".- Then the value will be displayed in Debug viewer window.
